When I’m not at church….you can find me on the sidelines at a sporting event, binge-watching Netflix, transporting my children to and from their activities, or shopping for hours at a time!
Favorite book: Tuesdays with Morrie and historical fiction
Favorite snack: Watermelon Sour Patch Kids
Favorite movie: Every Hallmark Christmas movie, Nicholas Sparks movies, The Sound of Music
Dream Vacation: I would love to travel to a place with great views, warm weather, and surrounded by people.
Favorite sports team: Through marriage, it was mandated that I love the Michigan Wolverines.
My role: My role is to add a touch of comic relief when situations feel really tense or scary. In the midst of laughter, I hope to speak truth to our children, to help them navigate through the questions and struggles they have surrounding their faith, and to help them discover the immeasurable amount of love God has for them.

If I’m not at church, I can nearly guarantee you’ll find me reading at a coffee shop.
Book: Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom, every Agatha Christie mystery, and Life of the Beloved by Henri Nouwen. Although, the real answer is there are too many for a bio!
Snack: Weirdly enough, generic Cheez-Its from Aldi. Also, if coffee counts as a snack, I enjoy coffee from just about any brand or company.
Movie: The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Good Will Hunting, Casablanca, Midnight in Paris, and La La Land (and a ton of other movies.)
Dream Vacation: I would love to go to Iceland and New Zealand. In Iceland, I would want to see the Northern Lights, swim in the hot springs, and try some of the local cuisine. In New Zealand, I would want to visit the areas where they filmed the Lord of the Rings, and see the sun rise over the mountains. However, in a pinch, I will always settle for a quick trip to Seattle.
Sports Team: I am an unashamed Miami Dolphins fan. It’s been a tough life, but I know how to persevere.
My role is guide students as they walk the path of faith. This means a whole bunch of meals shared, coffee conversations, and laughter. Faith is a journey of intentional steps towards Jesus, and it is my role to be there for students, every step of the way.

When I’m not at church…I am usually with my family, reading a book, or hiking.
Favorite book: God’s Smuggler by Brother Andrew and the Pout Pout Fish.
Favorite snack: Hummus and pita
Favorite movie: The Greatest Showman
Dream Vacation: anywhere there is mountains, and I can hike everyday…maybe even 4 times a day.
Favorite sports team: I hate watching sports on TV, but I love to join in any sport being played!
My role: I help lead our young adult’s ministry, women’s ministry, and our First Impressions team, as well as I am the Director of our compassionate ministry nonprofit, Lakeshore Bridge Builders.
