Our Beliefs

We are a part of the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition broadly and the Church of the Nazarene specifically. For more about the Church of the Nazarene click here.

These words from John Wesley are helpful for what we believe. Click here:

In essentials we have unity. In non-essentials we have charity. In all things we have love.

We affirm the Apostle’s Creed as central to Orthodox Faith:

I believe in God the Father Almighty,

maker of heaven and earth;

And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,

who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,

born of the Virgin Mary,

suffered under Pontius Pilate,

was crucified, died, and was buried;

he descended to the dead.

On the third day he rose again;

he ascended into heaven,

is seated at the right hand of the Father,

and will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the holy catholic (universal) church,

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body

and the life everlasting. Amen.
